Performance Outboard Tiller Throttle

All motorzoo 48V performance outboard motors come with a tiller mounted twist throttle as the standard option.

The tiller mounted throttle acts as both accelerator and steering arm for the motorzoo performance electric outboard motors.

The accelerator works on a twist handle as is common on outboard motors.

And the steering arm provides direct contact to the motor body for responsive direction.

The tiller throttle is made especially for marine environments.

It is a, safe, powerful, high durability unit with design features specific to our performance electric outboards, as follows:

• Strong Construction. Constructed from heavy gauge cast alloy materials.
• Corrosion Resistant. Powder coated to provide a robust barrier tor corrosion.
• In-built Safety. Lanyard mounted ‘kill switch’ that will turn the motor off if disconnected.

At motorzoo we are obsessed with operating safety, in everything we do, and everything we sell.
This is why the outboard motor throttles have a kill switch which connects to the user via a coiled lanyard.

When the lanyard tag is pulled away from its housing, a circuit breaker immediately stops power supply to the motor.
In this way the operator can quickly stop the motor in case of an emergency or accident.
